Nancy Loretta Albert Gallucci

Nancy was born in Danbury on February 12, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Francis F. and Anna (Kranz) Albert. A lifelong Danbury resident, Nancy graduated from Danbury High School and worked at the Danbury News Times, CT Air Service and retired from Boehringer Ingelheim. She was a long time member of St. Joseph’s Church. Nancy enjoyed golfing with her husband, painting, lunch with the girls and spending winters in Vero, FL, especially the time spent with her niece, Carol Jarrett and husband David and their family.

On October 16, 1954 she married the love of her life, Gene. They were married for 59 years, raising four children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her children, Dawn Dinho of Danbury, Lori Zarcone and husband Joseph of Brookfield, Jill Fay and husband Eric of Southbury, and John Gallucci of Danbury; grandchildren, Jasen, Brittany, Michael and Aimee Zarcone and Kylie and Brian Fay; great grandchildren, Noah and Ava Zarcone. Nancy also leaves behind her sister, Kay Keating, and her husband Edward, her brother, Gary Albert and his wife Melinda, a sister-in-law, Ann Gallucci, brother-in-laws, George Graef and William Peyron and all of her much loved nieces and nephews. In addition Nancy is also survived by two very special friends, Jacqueline Rotella and Sally Schmiedel, with whom she has been friends since the age of 3.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, Danbury, on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
