Nancy J. McNally

Nancy J. McNally, 86, of Danbury, CT passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. She was the wife of Matthew (Mac) J. McNally Jr. Born in 1939, Nancy spent 65 wonderful years together with her devoted husband, a testament to their enduring love and partnership.

Nancy was born in Port Chester, NY, daughter of Dominic and Theresa (Valentino) Tezzi. She grew up in Harrison NY and graduated from Harrison High School. Nancy was predeceased by her sister Maria Casagrande and brother Frank “Sonny” Tezzi.

Known affectionately for being everybody's “Mom”, Nancy's warmth and kindness extended far beyond her immediate family and friends. Her home was a haven for friends, neighbors, and anyone in need of a comforting word or a home-cooked meal. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel special, often with just her smile. To Nancy, “family” was everything. She lived for the holidays—not the tinsel or the turkey, but the laughter, the stories, the chaos of grandchildren and the spirit of the seasons.

In addition to her husband, Mac, she is survived by two sons; Matthew J. McNally IV and his wife Doreen, along with their three children; their daughter Meighan Pasick and her husband Michael; their daughter Brianna McNally and her husband Leandro Gallo; their son Matthew J. McNally V and his fiancé Brianna Skrinski; her second son Michael McNally and his wife Susan; their daughter Monique Cancel and her husband Kyle with their two children Kalvin and Ella; their daughter Paulina Kratz and husband Tyler with their two children Reese and Whitney; and their son Jackson McNally.

Family and friends will be received from 1:00pm - 4:00pm on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.
