Nancy Rose Paul

Nancy was born in Norwalk Nov. 18, 1919 the daughter of the late Albert and Mildred (Patchen) Paul. She was a graduate of St. Mary Parochial School, Center Junior High School, the Merrill Business School, and had attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she had studied art history and the sciences.

Prior to her retirement in 1990, Nancy was employed as an executive assistant to the vice chairman of the Union Trust Co., at their executive offices in Stamford. In her earlier years, she was employed as assistant to the chairman and founder of the Burndy Corporation, Norwalk. During this period, Nancy was named Secretary of the Year by the Norwalk Chamber of Commerce.

Nancy is survived by her son Paul, daughter Margaret, and four grandchildren. There will be no calling hours. A private memorial service will take place at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers are requested to be made to the Danbury Hospital Cardiac Care Unit, 24 Hospital Avenue Danbury, CT 06810. The Green Funeral Home 57 Main Street Danbury is in charge of arrangements.
