Patricia J. Shea

With great sorrow and bittersweet gratitude, the Nordt and Shea families announce the passing of our kind, brave, caring and unimaginably generous mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Patricia “Patty” Shea. Patty provided her children and grandchildren with all of the love, comfort, hospitality, humor and stability a family could ask for.

“Patty Shea” married the love of her life Dennis, had an illustrious career working for Kraft Foods, and dedicated her life to her family. She loved her day trips to McLean Ave, evenings at the Westchester Broadway Theatre, vacations on LBI, and of course spoiling her grandchildren that she loved so much.

Always there to lend a sympathetic ear or to offer sage advice, Patty’s kindness towards others showed no limits.

Mom/Grandma/Patty Shea leaves behind five adoring grandchildren - JJ, Conner, Fiona, Sean, Shelby; two children - Pattianne, Brian, two children in-law - Matthew, Beth - an adoring sister, Nancy.

She will be missed by all as she was our Angel on Earth.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Saint Edward The Confessor Church, Brush Hill Rd., New Fairfield. Burial in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, New York will be private.

The family will receive friends at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
