Phyllis was born in Belleville, NJ, daughter of the late Charles Gilbert and Phyllis (MacDougall) Jackson. She graduated from Colby Sawyer College and had briefly worked as a medical secretary.
In addition to her husband Allen, she is survived by her daughter, Kristen W. Burrell-Buffington and husband Bradley, her son, Michael Scott Burrell and wife Susan, along with her four beloved grandchildren who were the joy of her life. Zachary Allen Buffington, Jake Michael Burrell, Luke Michael Burrell and twin sister Morgan Elizabeth.
There will be no calling hours. Interment will be private.
Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Interlude Inc., a Non- Profit Mental Health Practitioner facility at 60 West Street, Danbury, CT 06810.
We choose to believe that she literally walked into the light and into the open arms of God and is now finally at peace and no longer is suffering.
