Robert G. Schirmer

Robert was a long time resident of Danbury, CT where he was born on January 27, 1930. Mr. Schirmer served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked at Davis & Geck in Danbury for over 40 years.

He was predeceased by his sister, the late Imelda Schirmer. Robert is survived by his siblings Bernyle Heibler, Henry Schirmer of FL, Barbara Gilloti and Mary Lancy of Danbury; and his children Kay Anne Arnold, Peggy Schirmer, Joan Nelson, Barbara Weber and Jim Schirmer; also by 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT 06810 from 8:00 - 9:30 am on January 2, 2019. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Joseph Church, 8 Robinson Ave. Danbury, CT 06810 on January 2, 2019 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Peter Cemetery in Danbury, CT.
