Ruth E. Rodriguez

Ruth was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Pedro and Brigida Cordero. She attended school in Puerto Rico and had come to the United States as a young woman. She had worked for many years as a machine operator for the former Risdon Corporation, prior to retirement.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Roselin Ruggis, her sons Leonard Rodriguez and his wife Candy and Abner Rodriguez, her grandchildren: Bethany Mena and husband Oscar and Michelle Rodriguez, her great grandchildren: Madyson Mena, Hannah Mena and Haley Rodriguez, all of Danbury, her brother Moses Cordero of Brooklyn, NY and her sister Noemi Ferreira of Scottsdale, AZ.

Funeral services will be held at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Saturday at 12:00 noon. Entombment will follow at Wooster Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the Green Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
