Susan Carol Marquis

Susan was born in New Canaan, daughter of the late Eugene and Dorothy (Van Nane) Hanley. She attended New Canaan schools and was a loving wife, mother, nana and great nana.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five daughters: Jennifer Burnside, of Sloansville, NY, Amy Soucy of Lawrence, MA, Vicky Cardillo of Bethel and JoAnne and Maggie Marquis of Danbury, her sister Jean Jones, of Bristol, TN, her brother, Phil Hanley, of Sharon Springs, NY, and sister Betty Hanley, of Gloversville, NY, as well as twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Becks Hill Cemetery, Vista, N.Y. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, on Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
