

Vincent A. Pagano of Danbury, CT, formerly of Hobe Sound FL, passed away on October 15, 2015 at the Regional Hospice and Homecare of Western Connecticut. He was 87 years old. Vincent was born August 8, 1928 in Fairview New Jersey, the son of the late Pasquale and Elvira (Pastore) Pagano. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, and was a Union Millwright/Machinist in New York City. Vincent enjoyed playing golf and was an avid Met Fan who also enjoyed reading, but mostly he loved spending time with his family, especially his seven grandchildren. He was a kind and caring man who will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his two daughters, Roseanne Chandler of Bethel and Denise Scribona of Danbury, two sons Vincent A. Pagano Jr. of Chester, NJ and Robert Pagano of Upper Saddle River, NJ. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; Victoria, Courtney, Christian, Emily, Catherine, Kyle and Ryan, one brother Patrick Pagano of Somers, NY and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his beloved wife Rose in 2013, two brothers Armand and Ralph Pagano and three sisters, Vera Pagano, Lena Thomka and Anne DeRentis.
Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:00 am at St. Joseph Church in Danbury. Entombment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery. In lieu flowers the family would like donations to be made in Vincent’s name to: Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western CT, 30 Milestone Rd., Danbury, CT 06810.
