I met Jim in 7th grade. I was coming back to Dart schools after being gone from 2-6 grades. Parents broke up a few times before finally ending it after 6th grade.I was the new kid-Mom was a single mother raising me and my bro on her own-shoestring budget. Bought my school clothes at Sears (Toughskins) and sneakers (Jox) @Thom McCann. Needless to say I was picked on relentlessly and bullied like you read about. Jim was kind to me when only a handful of my peers were-even sticking up for me at one time. We became lifelong friends from there on. He helped me, with his sarcastic wit and compassionate approach in ways I don't believe he ever fully knew, although I tried to tell him when we saw each other a month ago. I tried to repay the favor later on in life, and hope it helped. 'Will miss bumping into you, you were one of those cats I'd always see here and there, but will see you again, my Brother. God bless your soul and your Family. Peace.

I'm even going to miss your sarcastic side too. lol. I hope you are reading all the wonderful things people are saying about you. You touched so many lives. I'm going to miss those blue eyes and dimples.
Khloe, your dad loved you so much he was so proud of you! Keep being the great kid you are,he wouldn't want it any other way.

My favorite memory was when him, khloe and I went to Maine over the summer. We enjoyed ourselves and made the most out of it. He taught me how to play Yahtzee and it’s now my favorite board game. I will forever miss him.

Jimmy, Jimbo Slice, OLD MAN OTIS,

Only the good ones get 3 nicknames!!

I will miss you my friend. From all the classes we took together, our talks about our kids and briefly working together, you became one of the guys I trust and respect. Your constant smile and magnetic personality will never be forgotten. As a fellow Brother and friend I promise to do everything I can to help Khloe with whatever she needs because I know you would have done the same. When I needed help dismantling a swing set and relocating you were there, when I just needed to vent you were always willing to listen, when I needed help with studying we sat at the library figuring things out together. I’m gonna miss you man. You touched a lot of people hearts and mine was one of them.
Rest in eternal peace my Brother.

Your Friend,
John
