Richard J. Morris, 48, of Dartmouth, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 20, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in New Bedford, a son of Pauline (Vermette) Botelho of Dartmouth and step-son of the late Raymond Botelho, he had resided in Dartmouth for most of his life and was a graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School.
He was employed with the family business, Ray Botelho Landscaping Supplies, for 24 years. In his leisure time, Richard enjoyed tending to his yard and the company of his loving family.
Survivors include his father, Robert G. Morris of New Bedford; a brother, Philip R. Morris of New Bedford; an aunt, Margaret Anfang of Pennsylvania; an uncle, Armand Vermette of Florida; and a nephew, Philip R. Morris of Little Compton. He is also survived by his finacee Angie Vasquez.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 1-4pm in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth.
