Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Chris Ozere and Lynda (Johnson) Ozere.
Amanda graduated with honours from the IB program at Prince Andrew High School this spring and was in her first year at Acadia University.
Amanda was passionate about books, learning, writing, poetry, computers, art, music and athletics.
She will be sadly missed and remembered by her parents, her younger sisters, Samantha and April; grandparents, Rudy and Paulette Ozere, Halifax, Anker and Arlene Johnson, Bridgewater; great grandparents, Arnold and Gladys Trewhitt, Oyama, BC; uncles: Tom Ozere (Jocelyn), Ottawa, ON, and Kevin Johnson (Heather), Bridgewater; cousins, Chris, Andrew, Sarah, Max and Joseph; special friends, Bronte Norris and Eric Sampson, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 11, 2011 in A.L. MattatallFuneral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth, between 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
