BERNARD, Arlene Roxanne - Passed away in the early morning of August 30th at the Dartmouth General hospital after a battle with COPD. Born January 12, 1961, in Dartmouth, NS, she was the daughter of the late Geraldine Bernard and Alexander Bernard.
Arlene enjoyed a variety of careers throughout her life and made many friends from them. Mostly she will be missed by her sister who enjoyed their daily phone calls reminiscing about different events throughout their life.
Arlene is survived by her daughter Angela Kierstead (Nathan), Quispamsis, NB; son Cecil Elliot; grandchildren Oliver Rahn, Saint John, NB, and Gabriel Kierstead, Quispamsis, NB; sister and best friend Roseanne (Jerry) Ede, Dartmouth, NS; brothers John Bernard, Dartmouth, NS, and Michael Bernard, Lawrencetown, NS; half-sisters Veronica and Victoria Bernard, Halifax, NS; many nieces and nephews; and special friend Barry Fleming, Dartmouth, NS.
Graveside burial will take place 1 pm on Thursday, September 8, 2022 in Mount Hermon Cemetery.
