I miss my great-grandmother everyday. She was amazing and I remember all the time she hugged me so tightly I couldn't breathe. She passed when I was only 4- I'm now 15, I turn 16 on January 11th- She was a great mother, sister, daughter I bet, but most of all a great-grandmother

    I am saddened to have only now heard about the passing of Mrs. Mantley. I offer my sincere condolences.
    Mrs. Mantley was a wonderful person who always had a kind word for others and a practical way about her. I didn't know Mrs. Mantley very well but many times as I was passing the home on Erskine Street I might have an opportunity to chat, and part probably feeling better than before I saw her. 
   I will remember you Mrs. Mantley.

I remember our first meeting in the home of Rev. Sherrolyn Riley.  Mrs. Mantley was quite the sassy one!  Her physical appearance belied her years and she let us know she could hang with the best of us!  She never held back her laughter.   I am traveling so I cannot be with you in the service, but want you to know that I cherished our encounters over the years. She has left a lasting impression.  I pray that knowing God used her humor to send light into people's lives comforts you.   May you find strength and peace in the assurance that God is a very present help in trouble.

Mrs. Mantley always referred to my Mom - Laura Skeir - as her twin.  Mom is also 93, and was sorry to hear of Mrs. Mantley's passing.  We will keep you in our prayers.

Mantley Family, Please accept my sincere sympathy  in the passing of Mrs.M. a lovely lady.My first meeting was when my cousin Lillian Brothers passed@I never forgot her .Mrs.M.lived a great life .she now has completed  her work @ gone on to her glory in GODS KINGDOM it is hard to lose a loved one but rejoice she is resting in the LORDS arms free from pain.

I want to offer my sincere condolences to Barb and the entire family on the loss of your Mom. I worked with Barb at the VG back in the 1970s and know how much her Mom meant to her. I lost my mother 2 weeks ago and I understand how difficult it is for all of you. She will remain forever in your heart and your thoughts.
