Daniella Marie Assam Andrecyk

ASSAM ANDRECYK, Daniella Marie - of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, passed away at home on June 22, 2021. Daniella was born on August 14, 2001, in San Francisco and was the beloved daughter of Susan Marie Andrecyk and Said Alejandro Assam and the adored younger sister of Marissa Assam Andrecyk. Daniella was full of love and laughter. She had the ability to make everyone around her laugh and a magical ability to bring everyone into her wonderful world of humor and wit. Daniella will be missed by so many people, family and friends whose lives she has touched. She was looking forward to starting NSCC in the fall. Daniella loved all animals and would often bring home strays to try to keep. As a little girl, she once brought baby frogs home from Keji after camping. She loved roses and had plans for a rose tattoo. Daniella loved her family and friends. She will be very much missed by her big sister and best friend Marissa, with whom she shared an infinite number of laughs. They were partners in crime and consultants to each other on the good, the bad, and the ugly. She loved doing her nails with her Mom every few weeks while catching up on their news of the week and sharing lots of laughs. She absolutely loved spending time with her father, sharing their favourite Super Bowl commercials with each other and laughing hysterically at their inside jokes that nobody else understood. She enjoyed going to Big Pond and loved her first camping trip that cousin Donnie planned. Her cousin Julia will miss the sitting side by side on the couch texting each other and face timing at all hours. She will be sorely missed by Maya, Madison, Taylor, and her many other friends in her group, as well as her co-workers. Their group laughter would bring smiles to everyone around and brought many hours of joy to her mom, Susan. Daniella loved life, all who surrounded her, and all of the family get togethers. Daniella is survived by her mother, Susan Andrecyk; her father, Said Alejandro Assam; and by her loving big sister, Marissa Assam Andrecyk. She is also survived by her half- brothers Alejandro, Elijah, and Gianni Assam and her half- sister Paola Assam. Her aunts and uncles Greg Andrecyk, Shawn Andrecyk, Perla Gabriela Dauguet and Luis Andres Dauguet will miss and love Daniella always as will her grandfather Papa Luis (Luis Dauguet), who looked forward to all her visits. She will be missed by her great-aunt Genevieve Gentles, who assumed the role of a loving grandmother. Daniella was pre-deceased by her maternal grandparents, Mary (MacNeil) Andrecyk and Paul Andrecyk, and by her paternal grandmother, Hortencia Assam. Special mention must be given to others of great importance: Aunt Joan, Aunt Tonya, and her many wonderful cousins/family. A heartfelt thank you to cousin Carol for all her help and support. Given Daniella’s love of animals, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any local animal rescue or animal shelter. Private services are being arranged.
