I was saddened to learn of Donna’s passing. The world has lost a kind and wonderful woman.
Donna (Mrs.Cooper back then) was my Brownie / Guide leader and helped in my life’s foundation. She never forgot me and always spoke whenever we ran into each other.

Dear Frankie, George, Patti and Kathy:

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your wife, mother, and Nona. Our families were strongly connected for many years- whether it was us visiting you in Dartmouth, your cottage in Mooseland or our home in Tangier. We had wonderful times with lots of laughter. Donna was a huge part of our fun and was a special lady who was always smiling, never criticizing, and certainly enjoyed life to the fullest. My love always, Jean

Donna was an amazing lady and will surely be missed. Thoughtful, compassionate and wise are just a few of the words that come to mind when I think of Donna. It truly was privilege to have known her and been invited into her life. I have fond memories of sharing conversation, laughter (and an occasional beverage) during the holidays or on road trips. She leaves a deep and rich legacy in all of us that have had the pleasure of her company. My sincere condolences during this sad time.

George and I would like to express our deepest condolences to the entire Cooper family on the loss of Donna. I was lucky enough to have enjoyed her company on several occasions as well as her home baking which was simply delicious. It was obvious to everyone that Donna's happiness and joy was her family above all else. I believe that she is happy to know that you are all together, supporting each other and sharing the wonderful memories you have of her. God bless and grant you comfort.
