Age 62, of Dartmouth. It is with heavy hearts we announce Donna’s passing on April 11, 2019 in the Dartmouth General Hospital after a short but brave battle with cancer. Daughter of Betty Powell and the late Edwin Powell. Born in Halifax, raised in Moser River before moving back to the city. Everyone who knew Donna knew that no matter where she went, she loved to take care of people, she was a friendly face, quick wit and will be missed by all. Her husband, Bump; daughter, Gina (Charles); sisters, Tina and Susan and brother, Tommy and their families; along with her many extended family members and friends; her two cats, Willy and Ali are missing her but now know she is not in pain anymore. Special thanks to Michelle for all her help. A Celebration of Life will be held in Woodlawn United church on Saturday, April 27th at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
