Irwin, Dorothy Lavinia- 63, of Dartmouth, passed away June 5, 2011 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Beatrice (Poole) Venedam. She is survived by her husband Earl Irwin; son Douglas (Lee-Ellen); daughter Helen Irwin; brother Bill (Sharon) Venedam; grandchildren Kyle Irwin and Connor Irwin and many nephews and nieces. Dorothy was predeceased by her brother Joe Venedam. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 10 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Father Jim Richards officiating. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made in Dorothy’s name to the Nova Scotia Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
