

Wynacht, Edith Mary – 89, of Dartmouth, it is with saddened hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Edith passed away peacefully February 16, 2013 surrounded by her loving family in the Dartmouth General Hospital after failing health. She was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Lawlor) Kent. Edith was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and enjoyed bowling, camping, playing bridge, church, ladies guild, baking, going to the beach and loved dogs. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Phillip; her children Peter (Mariella), Judie (Kenneth) Coady, Nancy Burton, David; grandchildren Neil, Cherie, Ryan, Andrew, Chantal, Devin, Patrick, Suzanne, Sandra, Jeffrey; five great grandchildren Tyrell, Brookelynn, Jacob, Charis and Finley. She was predeceased by twin boys in infancy, her siblings Marjorie, Earl, Harvey and Venetta. A memorial service will take place under the direction of A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 2pm Wednesday February 20, 2013 in Grace United Church, 70 King Street. Burial will take place at a later date in Park Cemetery, Mahone Bay. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Association or Grace United Church.
