Munroe, Frances Mary “Frankie”-84, of Halifax, passed away on November 25, 2014 at Northwood Centre. Born in Windsor, NS she was a daughter of the late LeRoy and Gladys MacDonald. Frances loved to sew and knit and she made many quilts and knitted countless mittens, she also enjoyed doing embroidery work. She also enjoyed music and dancing.
Frances is survived by her children, Deborah, David, Robert, Barbara, Allan, Sheila, Sandra and John; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, as well as three nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; brother, Gilbert; and sister, Irene.
Visitation will take place from 1-2pm on Monday December 1, 2014 in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth, followed by a graveside service at 2:30pm in Mount Hermon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
