Parks, Johnathan - 24 weeks of Lake Echo, passed away July 26, 2017 at the IWK Hospital. Born in Halifax, he was the son of Brienne Arthurs and Christopher Parks. Johnathan was born premature in the parking lot at Wendy's while en route to the hospital. He fought the battle to overcome many difficulties all while holding Mom and Dad's hands. Johnathan passed away quietly in his parents arms, surrounded by his loving family. He will be well taken care of in heaven by his namesake, Johnny Campbell and great grandparents; Daisey and William Foggoa and Kevin Melvin Sr. Survived by grandparents; Denise and Kevin Melvin, Basil Frank, Andrew and Lynetta Parks, great grandparents; Sandra and Jamie Conrad, Leonard and Rita Parks, Sylvia and Donald, Frank and Debbie Melvin. Uncles; Anthony, Tyler, Ethan, Caleb and Karter. Godparents; Heather Hansford and Nathan McDonald, several great aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial gathering will take place at 11am in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the IWK Health Centre.
