

Graham, Kathleen Ruby Mary Mayo - 87 died at the Dartmouth General Hospital Tuesday November 8, 2011. Born in Four Marks, Hampshire, UK, she was the daughter of the late Captain Wm. and Gladyss (Mayo) Creese. Kathleen was an extraordinary woman. She was a long time volunteer with a number of worthy organizations. She was a member of the Nova Scotia Spinners and Hand Weavers Guild, a talented potter, a prodigious knitter, delighting in donating baby sets to the I.W.K., a rug hooker of enormous talent, a painter, a gardener for whom everything bloomed, she took great delight in passing on her knowledge, especially to her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons Jim and Larry, daughters in law Cindy , Lucille and Carolyn, grandchildren David, Elizabeth, James, Rosalyn, Laura, Kathleen, Bronwen and Christine, brother Christopher (Emma), many nieces and nephews and dear friend Christine. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Jim, son Robert and brother Bill. Visitation Friday Nov 11, 2011 6-8 pm in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home 217 Portland St. Dartmouth. Funeral will be 11am Saturday Nov. 12 in Christ Church, Dartmouth, followed by a reception in the lower hall. Kathleen supported many worthy charities over the years, the family has chosen Bonny Lea Farms and Heritage Oak Columbarium as having the most significance to them for any who wish to make a donation in her memory.
