So sad to hear of Jack’s passing. He was a wonderful neighbour during our 8 years next door.  He always had a warm smile and will miss his morning chats. Thinking of you Sylvia and family - Jack certainly loved you all and was so proud of the life you created.

Jack was Always a pleasure and fun to be around at all the Petro Canada parties, yearly  retirement meals and monthly coffee chats at Tim’s. Loved his positive attitude and the stories and jokes.

Jack was a fine man, and a true dog whisperer. My pups were always overjoyed to see Jack on our Lakeside walks. They loved his humour and joy for life. I was also lucky enough to have Jack as one of my foursome at Crowbush for many years. He was a true friend. I will miss him.

Jack was such a fine man. My memories of Jack were of seeing him on his daily walks at his beloved Lakeside. It was always a pleasure to chat with Jack. He had an ability to lift your spirits.

Tara; you likely don’t remember me, but I was a good friend of Kevin MacAdam’s back in the day. I was alway struck by your kindness and demeanour. My sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved father, I lost my own in March of this year. As we age, there’s no greater sense of achievement or contentment, than to have been loved wholeheartedly by our parents. It seems to be that very love and strength of our parents (the foundation) that sustains us as we experience the inevitable trials and loss life  provides. My best wishes to you and all your family for healing and peace. DP

This news breaks my heart and each day since his passing when I drive by the home on Spring Avenue where I met him my heart breaks again for your family. There are no words to truly express what a wonderful person he was and always will remain in everyone’s memories. 

Bill and I met Jack & Syl when we moved next door on McCarthy Lane,as seasonal residents. Our fondest memories are of times we sat on their deck,enjoying the pleasure of being their company. Jack was also our newspaper carrier,kindly delivering our paper on his morning ‘run’. He had a green thumb which produced a bountiful vegetable garden. My flowers paled in comparison to his,esp. his geraniums. We have been blessed to know him and so saddened by his passing. Condolences to Syl,Tara,Raquel,Shannon and their families. Good-bye Uncle Jack,  I will miss that killer smile. The thing I remember the most about you was your faith and your enviable work ethic. Your great nephews remember clam digging in PEI and your “farming” skills and what a great time they had.  Until we meet again , send my love to mom and dad in heaven.

Very sorry to hear of Jack's passing . I and everyone I know who knew Jack , thought of Jack as a good person with good values and fun to be with.
