Linda Katherine (Bowser) Walton

Linda was born in Moncton, NB and raised in Pictou, NS by her mother, June and her 2 brothers, Sandy and John. Linda left Pictou at 17 and met and married Pat in Halifax, they spent 58 years of marriage together.

Linda encompassed being a Navy wife, forever holding down the fort raising 3 children with Pat was at sea. She loved moving across the country to wherever they were stationed and made lifelong friends. In 1980 Linda went to work for BMO Data Center for 26 years and retired in 2006, there she enjoyed travelling as much as she could, some of her adventures took her across Canada, California, Switzerland and a month long trip to New Zealand with brother John and sister in law, Donna. In 1996, Linda became a Nana and over the next few years welcomed 6 granddaughter who she loved and adored, in 2023 she welcomed her great-grandson, Maddix.

Linda is survived by her husband, Pat; children, Jim (Lexi), Andrea (Sandy) and Keith (Tasha); 6 granddaughters, Bri, Kayla, Hannah, Zoe, Bronwen and Rory and great-grandson Maddix; brother, John (Donna); uncle, Hugh Donald and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Linda was predeceased by her mother, June Bowser; brother, Sandy and infant son, Troy.

Upon Linda’s wishes there will be a private family gathering at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
