M. Carol Mulcahy

Mulcahy, Carol - July 1, 1932 - February 24, 2017 It is with sadness that the family of M. Carol Mulcahy, age 84, announce her passing on February 24, 2017 in Halifax. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ita (Barber) O'Brien and predeceased by her husband John Mulcahy. She was also predeceased by her sisters Jean Einarson, Jane and brother Joseph. She is survived by her children Barbara and Michael (Cindy) and her three grandsons, Gavin, Sean and Brett. Carol was a beautiful lady who was kind hearted and had time for everyone. In her earlier years she was an Associate member of the Sisters Charity. She was a long-time member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and the Catholic Women's League. She enjoyed her time in her garden and giving back to the community through various organizations. She enjoyed socializing with her friends, never at a loss for conversation and ready to go at a moments notice. Visitation will be in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home on Portland Street, Dartmouth on Tuesday, February 28, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 1, in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Dartmouth at 2:00pm, Father Jim Richards officiating.
