Glidden, Mabel Pauline – 88 of Eastern Passage, passed away March 21, 2012 at Ocean View Manor. Born in Upper Coverdale, NB. She was the daughter of the late Cory and Oprah (Barry) Irving of NB. She was a lifelong employee of Ocean View Manor, Eastern Passage. She is survived by her son Richard, Eastern Passage; daughters Sharon (Bryan) Spencer, Eastern Passage; Ann (John) Dube, Orangeville, ON; brothers Raymond and Ernie Irving, and a sister Clara all of New Brunswick; five grand children, twelve great grand children, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald, son Michael, partner Robert Smith, brothers Jim, Howard, Johnny and Clayton. Visitation will be held 7 – 9 pm Friday March 23, with a Memorial service to be held 9:30 am Saturday March 24, all in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home 217 Portland Street. Rev. Carson Baxter officiating. Burial will take place in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Family flowers only donations may be made to a charity of choice.
