Born in Halifax, he was the youngest son of David and Donna (Mombourquette- deceased in 2001) West.
Marc was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at the age of 8 and struggled with this disease all of his life. He loved trucks, even as a little guy, and driving large trucks became his chosen profession. He loved his family, his friends and his loyal dog "Mindi".
Marc also enjoyed a game of pool with his dad but we were never sure who actually won. Marc also discovered Temu, having fun shopping and sharing .
Marc is survived by his father, David and partner, Shirley Pye; brother, Shawn; nephew and niece Riley and Darcy West and his sister-in-law, Michelle also, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Marc was predeceased by his mother Donna, aunt Betty (West) Kidston, uncles Peter West and Lenny Mombourquette, grandparents Riley and Marie Mombourquette and Jack and Marie West
A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
It would be greatly appreciated that any memorial donations made in memory of Marc be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
