

Rose (Marie Bernadette Rosaline) LeBlanc, 90 of Ivany Place, Northwood passed away suddenly on September 1, 2011 at the QE11. She lived in Moncton, N.B., and Truro, N.S. for many years and then moved to Dartmouth, N.S to be closer to her family after the passing of her husband Laurie George LeBlanc. She was the daughter of Marie (Leger) and Raymond Landry and was born in Saint Joseph, N.B. on August 4, 1921 .Besides her husband and parents Rose was predeceased by her brother Jerry and Philip Landry, Toronto, Ontario. She leaves behind her sister Theresa (John) Burke, Anita Landry, Truro, N.S. ; Bernice (Norman) Brownlee of Montreal ; Joe Leonce (Kay) Landry, Bayside, N.S , and Robert (Olga) Landry, Toronto, Ontario. Rose was a strong and hard working person throughout her life. She was defined by her determination to meet any challenges that life had to offer. She was sharp when it came to remembering the smallest detail of people’s lives and very perceptive. Rose spent her summers among family and friends at her cottage on the Brule Shore, walking the beach, tending the garden, one of her passions, mowing her lawn and creating memories that her family will cherish forever. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Cecillia (Alan) Anderson, and sons Albert, Norman (Brenda) all of Dartmouth, N.S.; and Robert Paul (Donna) Leblanc of Moncton, N.B. She will also be remembered by Colleen LeBlanc of Moncton, N.B. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren Jeffrey, Mark and Michelle Anderson, Jessica Renfert, Katie and Nicki Leblanc, as well as her great grandchildren Levi and Jaden Renfert and Faith and Alex Anderson. Visitation will take place at Mattatall-Verner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, N.S. on Sunday, September 4, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 669 Prince Street, Truro, N.S. Monday, September 5 , 2011 at 10:00 a.m. , followed by interment at Saint Thomas Church Cemetery , Saint Joseph , N.B.
