WHITE, (Munroe), Marjorie Elsie – 81, passed away in Dartmouth General Hospital on July 7, 2011. She was a daughter of the late Owen and Marjorie (Hiscock) Munroe. During her husband’s many military postings she was involved with the Lapidary Club, Drama Club, Girl Guides and wrote articles for a local newspaper. She enjoyed reading, crosswords, gardening and had a real passion for cooking. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ken; daughters, Beverley (Herb), Fay (Stephen), and Ann (Chuck); granddaughters, Kelly, Terra (Sean), Andrea; sisters, Jean (Howard), Dorine (Eric). She was predeceased by her brothers, Max and Francis. A reception will be held Wednesday, July 13 from 4-6 p.m. in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth.
