Patricia Marjorie Hamilton

HAMILTON, Patricia Marjorie (Yanik) - died at home in Waverly, NS on July 10th, 2020 with the love of her life by her side. She was born in Fort Fitzgerald, Alberta on March 17th, 1939, to Lawrence and Elsie (LaRocque) Yanik the oldest of 6 children. She worked as a medical secretary and a support provider at Tearmann House prior to her retirement. She then took on her most cherished role as a gardener and rock excavator. The love and care she gave to her husband, family and friends will stay planted in them forever. She leaves behind her beloved husband and life partner Bob Hamilton (his three children; William, Ric, Wendy and their families) and her Westie children Gregor and Aine. Missing her already are her three children Leslie (Travis) Payzant , Ron (Corinne) Marsh and Lauren (Gary) Knickle, grandchildren Nikki, Cale, Ben, Connor, Brynn, great grandchild Kenzie and baby M who will soon make his arrival! She also leaves behind her sisters Marilyn, Lillian, Bunny and brother Lorne. She was predeceased by her sister Dolores and many nieces and nephews, all whom she dearly loved. We are at peace knowing she is planting, digging rocks and watering to her heart’s content, pain free and with Gods approval. In lieu of sending flowers, it would be as meaningful if you could plant something in her honour or find the humour in a challenging situation.
