Peter Joseph Langley

Peter Joseph Langley, 73, of Lower Sackville, passed away peacefully Tuesday April 26 at the Halifax Infirmary with family by his side. Born November 25, 1948 he was the son of the late Lewis Langley and Phyllis Kerr (Langley).

Peter worked in the auto body field the first half of his career and drove a taxi for Satellite in Lower Sackville the second half.

He survived by his son Dean (Claudia) Langley, Dartmouth, daughter Deann Prudhomme, Lower Sackville, along with his grandson Brett Langley, Lower Sackville; his sisters Mary (Eddy) Conrad, Cow Bay; Carol Henley, Alberta; brothers David (Ellen) Langley Falmouth; Danny Langley, Bedford, as well as several nephews and nieces. Peter was predeceased by his beloved wife of 47 years Karen Langley, and step-father Robert Kerr.

In keeping with Peter’s wishes cremation has taken place at AL Mattatall Funeral Home with no visitation or service.
