As Peter's anniversary of his passing comes around it is hard to believe that it has been four years . I always considered Peter a friend growing up and later on in life ,  although in the last few years our only contact was when he would come into the store . Have fond memories of Peter and though he is no longer here physically we must  remember that he is where  there is no more pain or tears  . He is with us everyday in our hearts and in our memories  and is looking down on us from heaven smiling.

Jeanette and family - I only became aware today that Peter passed away some weeks ago.  It has saddened me greatly to learn of his death.  Peter was a good friend over many years, such a friendly guy and always ready to laugh at a good joke.....or a bad joke.  Please accept my deepest sympathy.  Debbie

I was so very sorry to hear of Peter's passing.  I worked with him in Moncton during a transitional time ( there were a few of those over the years at RBC).  He was kind and gentle...with a great sense of humour which made our sometimes difficult days easier to handle.  Thinking of you Jeannette - and all of your family at this sad time.

Please accept my sincere condolences on Peter's passing. Peter and I first became acquainted when he came to Sydney, George & Townsend branch of RBC 50 years ago. He was a great help to me there and a welcome addition not only to that branch but in his many postings throughout his career, obviously evident from the accolades of numerous colleagues.  He later came to St. John's while I was there and we often mused about  our days in Sydney. In addition to all his other talents he had a quick sense of humour and that usually kept one "on their toes". May all your memories and the comfort and prayers of friends and family help your healing in the days ahead. God Bless and  RIP, Peter!

Jeanette: Jill and I were saddened to learn of Peters passing. He and I had a long history as we grew up in the bank and I had a lot of respect for him. He will be missed but you can certainly take comfort in the time you and your family spent together.

I have only know Peter for a little over 4 years. I met him through his wife Jeanette, and his sister-in-law Sheri Hogan. It did’ t take long to get a conversation going, knowing that I was from Newfoundland. As the time went by, and Peter loving NL-& Irish music, he had me sending him a memory stick with music from Great Big City to Ireland’s Paddy Reilly, and everyone in between. 
And yes, He loved to list  to Peters Street by The Irish Descendants!
Of course he wanted it right away so I had to send it by courier.

Jeanette, please accept my condolences for your loss. During my time working on the administration side of the bank Peter was always provide good guidance and support. Take care. 

Very sad and shocked to hear of Peter's death. Unfortunately covid 19 had limited our more recent visits but we will keep safe in our hearts the memory of this interesting friend and neighbour. I often find the measure a person's value can be assessed by the reaction of our dogs to to their visits. Rocco will be missing his buddy.

Sorry to hear about Peters passing . Spent many summers at the Treen home in Malagash back in our teen years . Always a pleasure to be around .   RIP Peter .

He always had a great ability to analyze a situation and come up with imaginative and creative solutions.   A good sense of humour and very likeable.  So sorry that he has been taken so soon.

Jeanette please accept my heartfelt condolences to you and your family on your loss.  Peter was a special colleague to me who willingly shared his knowledge and experience.  Always available to speak with and bounce ideas off to improve operations for our clients and employees.  We shared many a sociable evenings in the day solving the problems of the world.  Peter was a fun guy who will be missed.

Jeanette, Philip and all family, Both of us were very saddened to hear of Peter’s passing  and we wish to express our sincere condolences to all of you. Peter became well know to me during our time working together at Halifax Main Br in the late 1970’s and I often had the pleasure of those hunting trips on Stevens  mountain near Westchester  as one of his friends even though I never used a gun in my life. After I moved to St Johns Peter was transferred to St Johns  and did a first class job running St Johns  Main Br where he also met Jeanette. After he returned  to Halifax and  held very important District roles in the operations area and he was always there to help me in my role as VP Nfld and Labrador . He was a tremendous Royal Banker with, a great whit ,analytical mind  ,and had a way of finding solutions around difficult situations , was well liked  and respected by all who knew him and always had a pleasant smile . Peter was a very valued professional associate and a great friend of mine as well as Eleanor. He was a true blue Royal Banker who contributed in a major way to the success of the bank in Atlantic Canada. Peter may you now Rest In Peace !  You will be in our memories forever. I was sad to hear of Uncle Peter’s passing. I have wonderful memories of spending time with him and Phil during the summers in Malagash. 

Kaye and I were shocked to read Peter’s obituary in the paper this morning. Good memories of knowing and working with Peter over the years at RBC. Our sincere condolences to Jeanette and family.
