Taylor, Rowena Beatrice- 87, of Waverley/Northwood passed away May 21, 2011 at Northwood Centre. Born in Newfoundland, she was a daughter of the late Cessen and Carrie (Clarke) Jones. Rowena was a member of Stevens Road Baptist Church. She was an avid reader, gardener, quilter and loved to play Scrabble. In her earlier years she was a Brown Owl in Waverley. Rowena was also very involved in sponsoring children through World Vision. She is survived by her three sons; John, Brent and Stephen; daughter Catherine (Wayne); brother, George; sisters, Edna and Doris and eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice Taylor. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday May 25, 2011 at 1pm in Stevens Road Baptist Church. Interment to take place at a later date.
