Hodgson, Sara Jane “Sally” (Peters)- passed away on September 19th at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Sal passed peacefully after a long battle with Type 2 Diabetes. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Shirley (Bruce) Peters. She is survived by her husband of almost 54 years, Commander Mike Hodgson (Ret’d), CD, JP; her sons, Peter, Collingwood, ON and Rob, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Isabeau, Jared and Keenan; sister, Judith Hazel (Midland) and brother, Robert Arthur. She was predeceased by her daughter, Elizabeth Joanne. Sal enjoyed life to the fullest as a mother, a Real Estate Agent, and writing for the Military family newspaper, “Entre Nous.” Cremation has taken place under the care of A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
