

Ashe - Fordham, Shelly Louise Kay – passed away on December 10, 2015 in her home in Dartmouth. Born September 28, 1967 at St. Martha’s hospital in Antigonish, she was the daughter of James H. Ashe and Donna (Croxen) Ashe of Lincolnville Nova Scotia. She was a hairstylist, looked after elders in her community, and planned to open various businesses. She was a kind, ambitious, and considerate woman. Shelly was always seen with a smile and strong willed. She was the type of person to give you her last without thinking twice. She is deeply missed and survived by; her son Christopher Fordham, grandson Dallus Giles, sisters Gale Ashe and Sharon Maclean, her Father and Mother; James and Donna Ashe, nephew; Taiwan Clyke, and many more friends and family members. Shelly is predeceased by her sister Peggy Anne Ashe; maternal grandmother Teresa Louise Johnson, and paternal grandmother Florence Hazel Sheppard. A tribute to celebrate Shelly’s life will be held on Friday at 2pm in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, in Dartmouth. Another family gathering will be held in the community of Lincolnville on Sunday. Donations can be made to Canadian Diabetic Association.
