Carter, Stephen Kirby “Steve” – of Dartmouth, passed away on January 4, 2013 at the age of 61. He was the son of the late Leslie and Joan (Jarvis) Carter, survived by loving family Margaret (wife), Trish and Chris Giles (daughter and son in-law), Taylor (beloved grand-daughter). Born in Toronto, with short stints in London, England and Hamilton, ON. Steve lived and worked most of his life in Dartmouth, NS. His latest endeavour was as the face of Wooden Rose Auctions, which he owned, with his wife for the past 14 years. Steve will be remembered for his generous and caring spirit, his quirky sense of humour and his anthology of stories. His concern for animals was only outweighed by his love for his family, particularly the joy of his life, Taylor. A meet and greet will be held in his honor on Tuesday January 8, 2013 from 6 – 9 pm in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth. Family flowers only.
