MACLEOD, Theresa E. – 90, of Dartmouth. (Best known as Mrs. Hammer). We are saddened to announce the passing of our family’s matriarch, loving grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of nine. She was predeceased by son, Robert L. Hammer and the love of her life, husband, Robert A. Hammer. She was the mother of seven children; Judy, Kate, Robert “Bob”, Michael, Richard, Gwenn and Jeannie. Always humming a tune and tapping her feet to music, she loved to dance and did so well into her eighties at the Newfoundland Club. She will always be remembered for her sharp wit, strength and feisty personality. A celebration of life will take place 11am on Thursday, June 29, in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home.
