Cameron, Virginia Queen of Dartmouth passed away on Monday, February 3rd at the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Dartmouth, NS she was the daughter of the late Everett and Queenie (Martell) Moseley and wife of the late Donald James Cameron.
Virginia was a Graduate of both Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Mount Saint Vincent University with a Bachelor of Education. She worked for 8 years with RBC and retired from the NS Provincial Government. She was a Past Worthy Matron of OES, Queen Ester Chapter, Gilbert and Sullivan Society and Frankie’s Club. She loved to travel, dance and sing. She and her husband, Donnie travelled and danced their way around the world.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol and Holly Cameron; her sister, Bernice Mitchell; her special friend, Mike Stanley as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 2pm from A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth with a reception to follow. Burial will take place in late spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope for Wildlife.
