William Andrew "Bill" Coleman

75, of Dartmouth, passed away May 15, 2017. It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to our loving Pops. Born in Halifax on June 13, 1941 and grew up in Greenbank. He was a longtime member of ILA Local 269. Bill was everyone's friend, and he always had a minute to spare to catch-up. He was a family man and could always be found alongside his children and grandchildren wherever life took them. He had a lust for life and enough love for everyone. His family is going to miss his hugs, which were given often and freely. He is survived by his sons, Dale and Billy (Crystal Rines); daughters, Kelly (Greg Milley), Heather (Dan Campbell), Joanne (Fred Dipnarine); sisters, Doris, Patsy and Gertie; grandchildren, Cory, Danny, Melissa, Jennifer, Stephen, Kara, Jeremy, Justin, Colin, Evan, Martika, Mackenzie, Josh and Katie; great-grandchildren Jayden, Isabelle, Carter, Kyler, Brooklyn, Kolby and Hudson. Predeceased by beloved wife, Una; parents, Jack and Caroline; brothers, Ron, Jack, George; sister, Joyce. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 22, 6:00-9:00 pm in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home Dartmouth. Funeral mass will be held 11:00 am Tuesday May 23, 2017 in St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church. Burial following the service in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation.
