William Lee McLaughlin

McLaughlin, William Lee “BoBo” – 77 of Lake Echo, passed away November 4, 2106 in the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Dartmouth, he was the son of the late Lee and Evelyn (Harvey) McLaughlin. Bill survived by his wife of 54 years, Gail (Waterfield); sons, William; Lake Echo, James (Kathleen); Oxford’ Michael (Cynthia); Lake Echo, ten grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; niece Tanya, many other nieces and nephews; long-time friend Kevin Rideout. Bill was predeceased by his sister Donalda Crawford. He was employed at DND for 35 years and was an avid outdoorsman involved with the Boy Scouts for many years. He was also involved with and a Past President of the Eastern Shore Ground Search and Rescue. He taught for many years the Nova Scotia Hunter and Firearm Safety Course. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 pm on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 am Thursday, both in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street. Rev. Kyle Wagner officiating. Burial will take place in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eastern Shore Ground Search and Rescue.
