

Aaron J. Lord,, 33, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in Davenport, Iowa. Per his request, cremation rites will be provided and a private graveside service will be held at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Aaron was born on April 3, 1992, In Davenport, Iowa, to Gary and Tami Lord. He graduated from Davenport West High School in the class of 2010. He went on to study at the University of Northern Iowa and Scott Community College. He was employed at the Rock Island Arsenal as a Contractor and was presently employed with Parr Instrument Company.
Aaron loved golfing with his friends. He was an avid Hawkeye fan and a couple of years ago, he attended every home and away football games for that season. Aaron and his father attended the 2022 Citrus Football Bowl game. He never missed watching a Caitlin Clark game whether it was Iowa or Indiana Fever. He enjoyed music, attending concerts, and karaoke. For several years he attended the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Tennessee, where he camped and enjoyed his favorite bands. During the Halloween season he loved working at the Skellington Manor Haunted House in Rock Island, Illinois. In his high school years, he was a member of the Show Choir, and later participated in Community Theater. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends at the public house and once a month he got together with his work friends.
He is survived by his Mother and Father, Tami and Gary Lord, Davenport Iowa, Grandparents, Pete and Vera Schmoll, Cambridge, Illinois, Aunts and Uncles, Barb and John Henry and Rocky and Barb Lord, Ottumwa, Iowa, Tom Lord, Davenport, Iowa, Paul and JunJun Lord, Houston, Texas, Terry and Casandra Schmoll, Bishop Hill, Illinois, Tim and Becky Schmoll of Cambridge, Illinois, Corey and Julie Schmoll of Orion, Illinois and many cousins, his Girlfriend, Katlyn VanScoy and her sons, Isaiah and Mason. He will be missed by his beloved golden retriever, Billy.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Grace and Joe Lord and Uncles, Larry, Dennis, and Randy.
