Services for Albert C. Stewart, 78, of Davenport, will be at 2 pm, Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm, Wednesday at the mortuary. Albert passed away Friday, May 27, 2016 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Albert Charles Stewart was born July 30, 1937 on Clinton, Iowa. He married Virgie C. Shumaker in June 6, 1964 in Davenport. She preceded him in death in 1999. Survivors include daughter, Cynthia (Tom) West, son, Robert Stewart (Dee Pearson); grandchildren: Sarah (Marc) Scott, Tom West, Jr. (Brittany Hyde), Charles (Dawn) West, Jacob and Brandon; seven great grandchildren; siblings: Donald Stewart, Sr., William Stewart and Charlotte Stewart and two close friends, Lester and John Farmer. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Anthony, his parents and two siblings.
