Alice Virginia Kelley

Davenport, IA Alice V. Kelley, 78, of Davenport passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 28, 2016. Cunnick - Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.Per Alice’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services. She asked her children to hold a memorial sevice for her in the Spring when the flowers are blooming and everything is green. There will also be a private ceremony in Missouri in the fall of 2016.Alice was born on February 12, 1937 to Ira and Charlotte Beard in Brumley, Missouri. She was 1 of 12 children.She married Hubert W. Kelley on May 13, 1954 and they raised four children together. Hubert perceeded her in death in 2003.She is survived by daughters, Sharon (Larry) Smith, Sheila Kiss, Kimberly (Gordon Jr.) Vrana and son, Keith. The loves of her life were her 8 grandchildren and her 14 great-grandchildren. Two very special people in her life are left to carry on the Beard traditions: her brother Marvin Beard in Kaiser, Missouri and sister Shirley (Martin) Crowley in Bettendorf. Janet Stacey thank you for being mom’s best friend.Those who were privileged to know this incredible woman will rememeber her as a kind and gentle soul. We love you Alice Virginia.
