Anita Elisabeth Bulington, 72, of Davenport, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023. A memorial service will be held Thursday December 21, 2023 at 12pm in the Runge Mortuary chapel. Memorials may go to The Alzheimer’s Association in Anita’s name.
Anita was born in Essenbach, Germany on March 28, 1951. She married David Bulington Sr. in July of 1974. He preceded her in death on April 27, 2012. She worked in housekeeping at Genesis Medical Center for over 20 years. Anita enjoyed crocheting, polka music, bowling, walking in the German countryside and spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Michelle aka Miki Bulington, Debbie (Marvin) Luttrell, Kathleen (Jeremy) McCall, Doug Bulington and David (Joyce) Bulington. She is also survived by siblings; Maria Christman, Volker (Dagmr) Costt and Manuela Lochnr; grandchildren, Tony, Matt, Shelbi, Josh, Dustin, Seneca, Rosie, several great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
Anita was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Bauer; her husband; two granddaughters; one grandson and her brother Roland.
