Andalusia, ILA service to celebrate the life of Annemarie Constance Doyle Lloyd, 23, of Andalusia, IL, will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Moline church of Christ, Moline. Family will greet friends from 10:00 am to service time at the church on Saturday.Services will be live-streamed for those who are unable to attend. Please log on to http://www.sundaystreams.com/go/MCOC2 Cunnick - Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.Annemarie passed away peacefully on March 20, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, following a courageous 11-month battle with brain cancer.Annemarie Constance Doyle was born on December 16, 1993 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, the daughter of Dr. Randy and Gabi (Meissner) Doyle.She was united in marriage with Brandon Lloyd of Jonesboro, Arkansas on May 14, 2016 in a private family service, and later celebrated with family and friends at a ceremonial service and formal wedding reception December 3, 2016 at the Hotel Blackhawk, Davenport. Annemarie graduated from Harding University, Searcy, Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design and Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She worked as a supervisor at Ezell Lab while studying at Harding University. Her Capstone project for her Interior Design degree reflected her intense desire to help mentally ill prisoners by combining architectural and interior design with psychological elements to achieve rehabilitation in repurposed mental health facilities. An accomplished black belt in Tae Kwon Do, she loved animals, music, art, reading and, most of all, her family, friends, church and her Lord. Her previous interests included fashion, clothes and shopping. She could fill an Amazon.com cart faster than anyone!Survivors include her husband Brandon; parents, Dr. Randy and Gabi Doyle; brothers,Hardy and Nathanael; all of Andalusia. She is also survived by her grandmother, Connie Doyle of Rock Island; aunts and uncles, Teresa (Brian) Fry of Andalusia, Regine Meissner of Grand Marais, MN, Wolfgang Meissner of Plainfield, IL, Schaad (Rondi) Doyle of Milan; cousins,Jenny, Eli, Brooke, Brittany, Zech, Brandon, Steven, his wife Faith and their son Levi;father and mother-in-law,Trevor and Amy Lloyd of Athens, GA; sister-in-law, Meagan (Shaina Knight) Lloyd of Athens, GA; cousins-in-law, Wade (Sydney) Fitts; grandparents-in-law, Robert (Suellen) Lloyd; best friends, Aly, Kalee, Jeanie, Kendra, Tyler, Taylor, Kyle and her dogs, Obi, Luke, Oreo and Keebler.The family wishes to thank Dr. Ali Krisht and staff at St. Vincent’s in Little Rock, Arkansas; Drs. Varun Monga and Mark Smith of Iowa University Hospital; and especially the palliative care staff of UIHC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center in Milan. Annemarie also asked that people prayerfully consider adopting an animal.A benefit for Annemarie will be held on April 29, 2017, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Moose Lodge in Rock Island.
