Anthony Lucas, 24, of Davenport, passed away September 24, 2012 at Genesis West Medical Center after a courageous fight with sarcoma. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Olivet Baptist Church, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 9:30 – 11:00 AM, Saturday at the church. Anthony liked to read the bible and spend time with his children and family. He was a very family oriented person. He enjoyed playing video games, listening to music and dancing. Anthony was a practical jokester and an avid fisherman.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Zerena Gales, brother Alton Lucas, 4 children, TeQuan Lucas, DeAntwan Lucas, Anthony Lucas, and Antinah Lucas, grandparents David and Gloria Gales, and grandmother Nellie Hollars, all of Davenport, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mae Hellen Harrington and Thomas Buford Harrington.
