A celebration Mass will held at Our Lady of the River Catholic Church at 11:00am Wednesday May 19, 2021. A visitation with the Rosary will be from 10:00am till Mass time.
She was born February 26, 1936 to Winston & Berniece (Waugh) Schepers in Delmar, IA. She was united in marriage to Donald Paul Mott on June 22, 1957. He preceded her in death on September 9, 2006. The couple had lived in Strawberry point & Manchester, IA before moving to Le Claire in 1975.
Ardith was graduate of Scott Community College as a registered nurse and worked for over 16 years before retiring from Riverview Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of Our Lady of the River Catholic Church and enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs, Bears, & Bulls. She was also an avid Iowa Hawkeye basketball & football fan.
Ardith is survived by her 5 children Lynette (Conrad) Halden, Delmar, IA, Brenda (Bill) Macchiaverna, Wheatland, IA, Constance Reese, De Witt, IA, Brian Mott, Davenport, IA , Christopher Mott, Le Claire, IA; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a sister Joyce Allison; 3 brothers Wayne (Lois) Schepers, Don (Maggie) Schepers, and Sam (Jane) Schepers; and many nieces & nephews.
Ardith was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law Wes Reese, brother-in-law Louis Allison, sister-in-law Sandra Schepers, and an infant great granddaughter Aria Townsend.
