Arthur E. Perreault Sr.

Arthur E. Perreault, Sr., 82, of Davenport, died Monday, March 25, 2013 at Genesis West Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 10:00 am at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 pm at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com. Arthur was born November 22, 1930 in Worcester, Massachusetts; the son of Arthur E. and Alice Mae (Hodgerney) Perreault. He married Pauline Jodoin on February 18, 1950 in Worcester, MA. Arthur was very friendly and especially loved his wife, Pauline. When they married they were 18 and 19 years of age. They always called each other, “honey.” He loved his family especially his boys and their wives, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was very artistic and enjoyed woodworking and making candy wreaths. He retired from Caterpillar and later enjoyed working as a crossing guard for ten years; he loved the kids and kids loved him. He also loved to fish and hunt. Those left to honor his memory include his wife of 63years, Pauline; sons: Arthur (Amy) Jr.; Jim (Sharon); Albert (Roberta); Steven; Glenn (Laura); all of the Quad Cities; grandchildren: Michael, Sarah, Joy, Charlie, Robin, Jessica and Cody; ten great grandchildren; brothers, Albert Perreault and Larry DeFosse and several nieces and nephews. His parents and siblings: Florence, Rita and Raymond preceded him in death.
