Barbara A. Hoffman

Barbara A. Hoffman, 72, of Davenport passed away on Monday February 22, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Runge Mortuary Chaple. Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Runge Mortuary. She was born on April 3, 1943 in Davenport the daughter of Everett and Theola (Brown) Bonney. Barbara was united in marriage to Walter Hoffman on December 30, 1971. He passed away May 18, 2008. She retired from Valley Shelter after 30 years of service. Barbara loved to travel with her grandchildren, spending time with her family and doing ceramics. Those left to honor her memory are her children: Dean Posten and Yvonne Beck, both from Davenport, Milissa (Dale) Hesser, Moline; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; sisters: Edwina Stout, Methel (Robert) Neff, Donna Bonney and Mary McConnell; brothers: Elmer Justice, Paul Bonney, and Everett Bonney, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters: Loretta and Dorothy and brother, Kenny
