Davenport, IA Funeral services for Betty Alsup, 78, of Davenport will be 11:00 am on Tuesday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Buffalo, IA. Family will greet friends on Monday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Mortuary. Cunnick - Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.Betty passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Care Center, Davenport.Betty Jane Dobbs was born on November 5, 1937 in Drury, MO, the daughter of Blayne and Dona (Shelton) Dobbs. She married Willis B. Alsup in 1960. He preceded her in death on November 19, 2001. In her younger years she worked as a waitress, she then worked at Brammer Manufacturing as a cabinet maker until 1974.Survivors include her daughters: DeAnna (Charles) Madesian and Deena (Richard) Moore, both of Buffalo, Iowa, seven grandchildren; Chuck Madesian Jr., Amy Madesian, Jessie Madesian, Leland Madesian, Wesley Moore, Abby Moore, Allison Moore, one great-grandchild; Rhyinn Madesian, brother; Ron (Lucy) Dobbs of Mountain Grove, MO, sisters; Emogene Sprague of Drury, MO, Bee (Jim) Tucker of Kimberling, MO, Shirley Lilienthal of Iowa, and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Sharlene Carlson and ex-husband, Willis Alsup..
